U.K. emissions trading surpasses 2,000 transfers. (Newsbriefs).(Brief Article)

More than 900 companies have transferred over 7 million m.t. of carbon dioxide ([CO.sub.2]) emissions in more than 2,000 separate transfers under the U.K.'S [CO.sub.2] emissions trading system, since it was launched in spring 2002, the U.K. government says.
